The Greatest MC ever, in my opinion, would have to be Will Smith; he was good at telling stories and He has multiple personalities but still is relevant into the present day hip hop scene.
My favorite MC is Gucci Mane, his song that he write is good. And he can rap real good
The Best MC out there right now would have to be Kanye West.
Mainly Because he just keeps it real. No fakeness. Also he's not talking about all the money,chains,cars and stuff he has. He's songs have meanings and they're pretty well done.
Lil Wayne is definitely not the Best MC of all time. He is so overrated. I used to be a huge fan of him but his ignorance is not cute anymore. I don't believe in people being the best. But one MC who I think is really good is T.I. He doesn't always make the best decisions in life but he learns from the mistakes he has made and you realize that through the songs he write. He always takes his music seriously. T.I. does rap about money, cars, and clothes but he writes music that a lot of people can relate to as well. He's sexy too!!! :D
I think the best mc would definitly not be Kanye West or Jay-z, but I feel it would have had to be Tupac, he didnt always write about the type of stuff the rappers today rap about, he wrote personal stuff that really touched people. :]
Lil Wayne is definitely far from the best in my opinion because he's overrated and none of his music makes sense. I like Immortal Tenchnique cause he actually raps about things that matter.
I think that biggy is by far the best mc ever because he speaks from the heart and tells his life storys with his songs and it really shows what he went through in life to be sucessful.
Chuck D is the greatest MC of all time.
1.) He has a booming voice that commands your attention.
2.) With that voice, he delivers powerful messages. You may not agree with what he says, but at least he speaks about things of substance.
3.) He is responsible for two of the greatest albums of all time....not just in hip-hop....in all of music. It Takes A Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back is widely regarded as one of the most important records ever made.
4.) Chuck has never sold out. He has backed his words with actions. The same cannot be said for his partner Flavor Flav.
Afrika Bambaataa is probably one of the best MCs. He incorperated people and rythems from other countries and ways of life into his music. He helped spread the hip hop culture.
I think that question is to opiniated it all depends on the person...personally I think if youre a rapper youve gotta feel like youre the best in order perform to the best of your ability when recording, theres alot of diff aspects that goes into MCCing it stands for move the crowd wayne cant move a crowd like dougie fresh but dougie fresh cant rap better than wayne yadiggg? so its diff aspects like me myself i would give it to Eminem because he has EVERY aspect he's not my favorite but hes the Best at what he doesz rite now hes so rhymthmatically talented with the rhyme schemes alot of fans take that for granted but Rapping is just an Urban form of the English language if you ask me...lol on tha otha hand Rize X will be tha bestttttt.
I think vanilla ice is the best because he's cool.
The greatest MC of all time would have to be Young MC. Think about the songs we've all heard but maybe haven't recognized were in fact the one and only young. The catchy hooks in tracks such as Bust a move and smooth rhymin' in principal's office are a hip hop force that is fun, catchy, and sometimes powerful. Young raps about everyday things and that's something I can really relate to. Who doesn't want to bust a move every now and then.
the best mc i got to say is jay z because he's real and never forgets where he comes from.
First and for most, i think these artist that ppl picked sucks!!!! there is a few exceptions though. But The east coast breeds some of the best rappers of all time and soon members from d-block (jadakiss & Styles p) will be amongst some of the greatest to ever do it.

not lil wayne, thats for sure. In MY opinion, the best MC of all time is Tupac. most of his songs included stuff that people actually face, and care about. On that note, my favorite song of his is "changes". really shows that rapping has a lot more to it than "bang bang".

I think the greatest mc of all time is jay-z. he is absolutley a master of the art. he is one of the rappers that rap about the world and he is a global icon...he is the best rapper ever in my opinion
