1. i rate this a 10!!!!
2. i love everything about thee lyrics. i like how they rhyme and have the same syllables. they talk kind of fast but you can still understand what they're saying though.
3. The message of the song is Jurrasic 5 saying "We holding onto what's golden" meaning that they are gonna take their gift of being able to rap well and use it to promote positive music instead of using it to just make money.
SAMPLE; PROPHET'S OF RAGE BY: PUBLIC ENEMY
I would rate this song a 9. I like the song an the lyrics everything jus slid together perfectlly. Well I think the message in the song is that no matter what you'll always be the same.
I rate the jurassic 5 video a 6.
what this rap is about is how old school rap is the best era. Most artist take rap and turn it into thing that are not real old school is simple how they would sit on the porch or in the park and spit lyrics at each other and people would go crazy with no disrespect that makes music golden. The music reminds me of the roots the beat sounds like grand master and the furious five. what makes this song is how he simple put the pen to the paper and tramsform his message hip hop will only understand that.
i rate the video a 7 but the song is hot so i give it a 10.
It's defintly catchy with all the rhymes. i loved everything about it. I gotta admit, rap back then had so much more meaning than it does today. BUt hopefully there will be some new artists that change that and bring it all back. i defintly love it its one of my new favorite songs! =]
Im GUESSING the meaning of the song would have to be that even after everything that they went through, they're still holding on to what they love the most and what they enjoy the most. Thats somethinG "GOLDEN" to them.
oh i forgot they are sampling
public enemy-prophet's of rage.
I rate the song a 6, The lyrics are tight and there is definetly alot of good rhymes in it, the message is that no matter what era it is, music will be dominant, i think!
-i rate this sonq a 9
-i liked the whole sonq, but i liked Marc 7even part better
-the messaqe is that throuqh out everythinq they qonna try to keep music the way it was.
&&personally i like musicfrom back then because it had alot of meaninq, som artists today write about important stuff, but not like they did back then
&+it came from public enemy prophet of raqe.
i rate it a 10 bc the lyricsz have substantial meaninggggg, the message is music will always be around
the sample is from public enemy
i give it a 6 bc the lyrics were alrite, i think the message is that music is golden.
i rate it an eight. Personally, I like the number eight. The lyrics were legit. I also like the video. I think the song is about how times are tough for everyone. And you can either take it personally like for the rappers or maybe they wrote it for everyone like. Times are hard but you have to hold on to what is golden in your own life. Public enemy. Looked it up onlineee ha ha
i would rate it a 8. the lyrics were good. they are very poetic and meaninful. there was alot of effort put into writting them. i personaly did not care for the video very much. i did not understand what some of the things, or the main theme of the video had to do with the song. they sampled from public enemy because when i looked up the lyrics it said it was.
the message of the song was that they were keeping rap and hip hop about the music. not about the fights or the money.
i rate this a 9 because the video is not about guns and cars and how much money you got. and its stright
i rate this song a nine because they didnt put me on the track.lol. nah jk-ing. the video was ok and the message of the song was basicaly be good and if u cant be good be good at it.bam go ham...out
i rate it a 10!!!!!! this video is the bomb. but i think the meaning of it is even if u r famous never let that draw u in because ur still human and your no better than anybody else
i rate it a 7
The lyrics are concious but i like a more versatile style and the message is to tell the signifigance of the hip hop culture
-Ovadose
i give it a 7 because its talkin bout kinda like dont let the money and fame go to ur head remember who u are
1. i give it a 9.
2. love the lyrics. its got a catchy beat, and it makes you want to sing along. at least it did for me.
3. "holding on to whats golden" the best things in life. dont let them slip. dont take advantage of them.
africa :]
I give it a 7.. cause I didnt like the video. But I liked the song cause the beat was really catchy and and it made me want to dance. I think it's about holding on to what's good in your life and not to let things like fame or money get to your head.
Sorry it's like superduper late.
